Rachel and Travis’ River Place Wedding in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee was nothing short of a beautiful love story and a long awaited adventure. Their wedding held all the elements of a classic, timeless, and love filled day with a formal yet fun gathering! Their family and friends gathered around them and celebrated their long awaited union together!

The River Place Wedding Venue is a beautiful place to have your wedding in Sevierville, Tennessee. Daniel and I just loved being a part of Rachel and Travis’s special day! Rachel’s details were just beautiful, and we had a wonderful time photographing their entire day!

How We Met Rachel & Travis

Rachel and Travis originally found us through our website and decided they wanted to book us for their destination wedding in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee. We were able to serve them with an adventure engagement session to Cummins Fall State Park and one to the Nashville Public Library!

How Rachel & Travis Met

Rachel & Travis actually met in high school back in 2009, and in 2010 they went on their first date; however, they didn’t pursue it further at that point in time. Rachel moved to Florida after high school and didn’t move back to Virginia until 2021. Travis actually reached out to her via snapchat, and they started talking again in the December of 2021. About 3 months into their dating relationship in 2022, Travis asked Rachel to marry him. And Rachel said yes!

We absolutely loved being a part of their love story, and we can’t wait to see their marriage and life together continue to flourish!

After Rachel’s wedding day, her words to me were, “We can’t thank you enough for capturing all these amazing moments!” I love making our couples happy! It’s a joy to do what we do.
